Rules and Regulations
1. Contestants must reside in Goose Creek CISD and can not be or ever have been married. There will be NO exceptions. For the title of the BYF Rodeo Queen there will be one age group 14 to 18 year old girls. For the title of BYF JR. Rodeo Queen there will be also only one age group 11 to 13 year old girls.
2. Dress attire must be "Western Style." A hat is suggested, as the winner's crown is designed to be worn on a hat.
3. There will be a $20.00 entry fee which must accompany this entry form. The entry fee is non-refundable donation to the Baytown Youth Fair. Checks should be made payable to Baytown Youth Fair Association.
4. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES WILL BE 8:00 P.M., THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2009.
5. Judging will be held in the Activities at the Baytown Fair Grounds, 7900 North Main, on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
6. Contestants will need to be there NO later than 1:30 p.m.
7. Contestants will walk the runway, make a turn to give front and back view and walk to the designated spot where the emcee will interiew each participant.
8. Contestants will be judged on poise, personality, and apparel.
9. The winner will ride in the Friday and Saturday Night Grand Entry of the Baytown Rodeo. Free passes to the Friday and Saturday night rodeo will be issued to the winners and their parent or guardians.
10. The winner from each of the two age groups will receive a sash and crown. The first runner-up from each group will receive a trophy.
11. Winners must be available for the following:
a. Grand Entry of the Rodeo each night
b. Any publicity promoting the Baytown Youth Fair
c. Baytown Christmas Parade- Winners must contact Baytown Parks & Recreation Department on Market Street if they choose to participate.
d. Crown the 2010 Winner.
12. Decisions of the judge will be final.
